Xia Lian Wilson
Xia Lian is no stranger to the world of Musical Theatre, both on and off the stage. Her most notable roles include Cinderella in ‘Into the Woods’ (Syd Con), Mrs Andersson in 'A Little Night Music' (Hayes), and Johanna Barker in 'Sweeney Todd' (Arcadians). Xia Lian took on the role of AMD/VD for MUSE’s ‘New Voices’ in 2024, and is currently MD for ‘The Addams Family’ with Sydney Girls/ Sydney Boys High School (May 2025). Additionally, she has Stage Managed ‘Falsettos’ (MUSE) and ‘My Fair Lady’ (TIGS). Commercially, Xia Lian has made appearances on ‘NCIS Sydney’ (2025), ‘Playschool Showtime’ with Nikki Webster (2024), and ‘TripleJ’ with ‘AllDay’ (2024).
Xia Lian adores the music of Gypsy, and was eager to jump at the opportunity to study the score from a different perspective. Gypsy is such a timeless classic that everyone should witness at least once in their lives; and Xia Lian can’t wait to help bring this magnificent work to life for Australian audiences.
