THE DROWSEY CHAPERONE - SEPTEMBER 2019
 

The Drowsy Chaperone is a parody of American musical comedy from the 1920s. The musical involves a middle-aged, musical theatre fan. Reliving his love for music. He plays the record of his favorite musical, the fictional 1928 hit The Drowsy Chaperone. This vibrant show comes to life onstage, as he walks us through the different music hits, the story, and the actors. 

 

The Drowsy Chaperone debuted in 1998 and opened on Broadway on 1 May 2006. 
 

This fun-filled show was nominated for multiple Broadway and West End theatre awards, winning five Tony Awards and seven Drama Desk Awards.
