This timeless, captivating story is brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope and everlasting love.

Bring It On

Bring it on: The Musical, with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda (‘Hamilton’) Tom Kitt (‘Next to Normal’) and Amanda Green (‘High Fidelity’), with the book by Jeff Whitty (‘Ave Q’).

Independent Theatre North Sydney, Friday 20 July – Sunday 22 July 2018

The story is loosely based on the 2000 film of the same name and focuses on the competitive world of cheerleading and over-the-top team rivalries. Campbell is cheer-royalty at Truman High School. But an unexpected redistricting has forced her to spend her final year of high school at the neighbouring hard-knock Jackson High School.  Can Campbell break through the friendship barriers to achieve her dream squad for the ultimate cheerleading competition, the National Championships?

Bring It On’s colourful characters, exciting fresh sound and explosive choreography (with aerial stunts!) will be all that you hope for in a musical - and like nothing you expect!
